ACCO is committed to ensuring that its interventions do not create dependency. Our sustainability strategy includes:
- Local church ownership: all programs transition to local dioceses and parishes within 3–5 years.
- Resource mobilization training: training local churches in tithing, local fundraising, and financial management.
- Income-generating activities: church-based projects such as agriculture and small shops.
- Volunteer networks: community volunteers who continue the work without external funding.
- Exit strategy: every project has a clear exit plan, phased transition timeline, and post-exit monitoring.
- Local evangelism resources: locally reproducible materials (oral, low-literacy) that need no ongoing external funding.
