Program Focus

Preventing and responding to Gender-Based Violence and Sexual Exploitation and Abuse through survivor-centered mechanisms, zero-tolerance enforcement, and robust accountability systems.

Key Activities

  • Women in leadership: minimum 50% target for women’s representation in church governance and ACCO decision-making.
  • GBV & PSEA prevention and response: confidential, survivor-centered reporting mechanisms; PSEA training for all staff, volunteers, partners, and church leaders; immediate medical care, psychosocial support, and safe shelter for survivors; referral of all credible allegations to legal authorities; whistleblower protection.
  • Economic empowerment for women: vocational training, savings groups, and startup grants for vulnerable women, including widows and female heads of households.
