“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” — Matthew 28:19-20

Program Focus
ACCO recognizes that the work of evangelism, teaching, and baptism belongs to the local church. ACCO does not conduct independent evangelism — it promotes and supports Church-led evangelism.
Key Activities
- Equip lay evangelists: train and resource lay evangelists within Anglican dioceses to conduct outreach, proclaim the Gospel, and bring new believers to local priests for baptism and discipleship.
- Provide evangelism resources: supply Bibles, prayer books, tracts, audio Scriptures (for oral learners), and evangelism toolkits to local churches.
- Church infrastructure support: assist dioceses and parishes in rebuilding or repairing churches destroyed or damaged during conflicts.
- Support clergy in discipleship: training for clergy and catechists in follow-up and nurture of new believers.
- Youth & children’s evangelism resources: age-appropriate discipleship materials for orphaned and displaced children and youth.
- Partnership with Mothers’ Union: home visitation-based evangelism, family prayer, and baptism preparation.
Key Indicators
- Number of churches equipped for evangelism
- Evangelism trainings conducted for lay leaders
- Bibles and materials distributed
- New believers baptized by local churches (as reported by dioceses)
